Chris Woods

Director of Strategic Partnerships, Kurv

Chris Woods, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Kurv, brings over seven years of experience in payments and fintech, with a specialized focus on unbranded gas stations and convenience stores across the retail and petroleum verticals.

Chris works directly with independent operators, ISOs, and agents to modernize payment infrastructure through scalable, transparent processing models at Kurv. His work centers on dual pricing programs, integrated POS and payment systems, and margin-focused processing strategies tailored to the operational realities of petro retail.

Alongside his role at Kurv, Chris continues to serve as Director of Operations, Data & Residuals at Peel Payments, where he leads merchant onboarding, partner support, and backend infrastructure across multiple sales channels.

He is also the founder of Woods Land Services, LLC, a firm supporting the oil and gas industry, which gave him a working knowledge of the fuel supply chain, regulatory compliance, and business development in petro retail.

As a U.S. Army infantry combat veteran, Chris served in Afghanistan and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with Valor device and the Combat Infantryman Badge. He brings that same discipline, accountability, and execution mindset to every partnership he builds.

At Kurv, Chris is building out the petroleum vertical, partnering with gas station and c-store operators on dual pricing strategies, integrated payment solutions, and transparent processing models that improve margins and operational control.
